of this genre. This identified the popular music of Uruguay in the 60's, 70's, and 80's. The orchestra was founded in the early 80's under the responsible direction of its director Yeneca Natal. However, due to different situations, it could not continue participating in the events held in the city of Montevideo.

In 2010, under the responsible direction of his son Sebastian Natal, the group returned to play its repertoire, but now based in the city of New York/New Jersey. From here on, the group's goal is to bring to each of the Uruguayans who are outside the country (whether for months or decades) a little recollection of those great moments when tropical music shone, was liked and enjoyed throughout the country. The plena, the cumbia, the bomba, and the plena danza were some of the many Caribbean genres/rhythms that the orchestras performed. Grupo Sensación has in its repertoire the greatest hits of the groups that delighted our people in those times. Grupo Maracaibo, Karibe con K, Combo Camaguey, El cubano de America, Sonora Cienfuegos, Sonora Cumanacao, Grupo Latino, among others.

The show has been presented from north to south of the American continent. The orchestra sounds 100% live and that has allowed it to be a support band for soloists who come from Uruguay and also from other parts of the world. Carlos Goberna Jr., Karibe con K, Alex Stella, Gonzalo Porta, Gerardo Nieto, are some of the names that the group has had the honor of accompanying. It has also stood out for performing any other type of live event that is required. Sweet 16 birthdays, Golden and Silver Weddings, festivals, etc.
